Rooted in the spirit of service and protection, Nobuhle Magwaza was born and raised in KwaZulu-Natal, where her commitment to community first took shape. After matriculating locally, she pursued studies in Early Childhood Development and Caregiving, fields that echoed her compassion and instinct to care for others. Yet Nobuhle’s vision extended beyond care, it included safety, dignity, and empowerment. Guided by the belief that every individual deserves to feel secure, she founded Disteria Security. Her mission gained momentum when she joined forces with Vusi Masuku, and together, they nurtured Disteria Security & Projects into a proudly South African brand known for its integrity, excellence, and unwavering commitment to community safety. Today, Nobuhle stands not only as a co-founder but as a symbol of resilience, purpose, and leadership, proving that protecting a community begins with passion and grows through partnership.
Operations: Vusi Masuku
With over 15 years of experience in the security industry, Vusi’s career is a testament to hard work, discipline, and unwavering dedication. From his early days as an onsite security guard to his rise into management, Vusi has earned his place as a trusted leader through firsthand experience and a deep understanding of what it takes to protect and serve. He serves as Operations Manager at Disteria Security, where he leads from the front, coordinating, streamlining operations, and ensuring each client receives the highest standard of service. His operational insight and leadership are key to Disteria’s success. Vusi’s path crossed with that of Nobuhle, whose passion for community upliftment laid the foundation of Disteria. Together, they forged a powerful partnership, combining Nobuhle’s vision with Vusi’s expertise and execution. Their collaboration shaped Disteria's into more than a business, it’s a shared mission to create safer spaces for communities.
